The Club Tie is Navy Blue terylene embroidered with thin, diagonal gold and red stripes, inter-spaced by the Clove Club crest of a shield, with red chevron, nine cloves and surmounted by the camel, this being recognised as an abbreviated form of the arms of the Worshipful Company of Grocers by whose favour it has been used since the Club's foundation in 1884.
